Individual assessments tailored to the developmental, educational, mental health, and social needs of children and young adults.
Short-term weekly session work for children and young people, using cognitive-behavioural therapy style approaches / narrative therapy life story work / drawing and talking / mindfulness and guided imagery, for emotional wellbeing and mental health support.
Training for schools and colleges, for example:
Attachment and classroom strategies;
Nurturing classrooms and interventions;
Autistic Spectrum Disorders and classroom support;
Precision Teaching for literacy skills;
Domestic Violence and Abuse – Supporting children in school;
Understanding trauma in childhood, and trauma-informed strategies.
Schools-based consultation / drop-in sessions exploring specific or general needs of children, to explore and find solutions.
Fees
Assessment
This typically includes consultation with key adults, direct work with the child/young person, analysis and formulation, and a report.
Assessment is comprehensive and holistic, with relevant resources and tools to explore all presenting needs. This process takes 7.5 - 10 hours but is charged at a day rate.
Further adaptations to this process can be discussed on request (e.g., adding implementation guidance, reviews and updates to recommendations).
Training for schools and organisations
Twilight / half day sessions (up to 3 hours), including resources.
Topics include:
- Attachment and classroom strategies;
- Nurturing classrooms and interventions;
- Autistic Spectrum Disorders and classroom support;
- Precision Teaching for literacy skills;
- Domestic Violence and Abuse – Supporting children in school;
- Understanding trauma in childhood, and trauma-informed strategies;
- Executive Functions in school.
Bespoke training packages can be created on request with costs to be agreed.
Staff drop-in sessions / consultations (without child assessment / anonymised)
Offered with an hourly rate
Therapeutic sessions / group work for children
These sessions can be tailored to specific social, emotional, or learning needs.
Topics include:
Drawing and talking (one to one sessions)
Cognitive Behavioural Approaches for anxiety and/or low mood
Growing Optimism (group work for developing resilience)
Theraplay Approach sessions for parent/carer and child, or in groupwork.

Additional Fees & Information
Please note that some fees may vary depending on the specific assessment requirements or the training needs of your educational setting.
Travel costs (where applicable)
Travel outside of a one hour radius from the base location is calculated and charged at a standard mileage rate to cover operational costs.
Report updates or additional copies
Standard fees apply for requested updates to existing reports beyond the initial assessment package.
School or multi-agency meetings
Attendance at ALN reviews, school-based consultations, or multi-agency professional meetings is charged at an agreed hourly rate.
